Being a parent is a gift. However, some days we can find ourselves wondering if we are doing our best by our children, our partners and even ourselves. With life's demands - work, household responsibilities, other activities - one can find themselves feeling as if they are stretched thin. Stress that is left unchecked can run the risk of escalating to a severe presentation of anxiety or depression. This can in turn affect the way we parent and resolve family conflict. As a Mother and Wife I bring this relateability to our conversations. Research indicates there are mood enhancing benefits to active participation in psychotherapy. My goal is for you to leave our sessions empowered with a new perspective & tangible skills to apply in your daily life. I know schedules can be tight, this is why I offer in person & virtual psychotherapy options. Congratulations on taking the 1st step and doing your research, now take that next one and finally start to put your needs 1st. After all you can't serve from an empty cup. Please note, I am only taking patients affected by the current war in Israel. I am doing this as a community service for no-fee. As a PhD Clinical Psychologist for over 25 years, I have worked with a wide range of patients including executives, veterans, students and parents. While everyone is unique, my approach to treatment generally focuses on helping the patient understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors so that they ultimately can gain better control over all of them and find the personal meaning in their life. I have several areas of specialization. These include, attention disorders, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Post-covid Syndrome, chronic pain, psychological issues related to medical illnesses and disability, unexplained illness, depression and anxiety. My published research includes work in many of these areas. My training has included both intensive study of neuropsychology/cognitive rehabilitation and psychoanalytic post- doctoral coursework. For 22 years, I was on the full-time faculty of the APA-accredited PhD training program at Fairleigh Dickenson University where I taught courses in psychotherapy & psychopathology & supervised graduate students.

Hi, my name is Caroline. I am pleased to be here and looking forward to meeting you. My primary goal is that you feel comfortable expressing anything you need to talk about. I believe most of our feelings and thoughts are universal but at the same time, many of us feel judged and therefore remain secretive. We often shrug off our thoughts due to shame and each time we do this we are further away from healing. Personal growth starts with self-acceptance. In a judgmental world, many of us remain hidden and maybe in emotional pain. It is important to be able to talk freely. Make peace with ourselves and grow from there. Bring your goals. Let us decide what to work on first. My role is to help you overcome obstacles that are getting in the way of you becoming the person you wish to be. I enjoy helping my clients find the strength that they did not know existed and watching them slowly meet their milestones. My strengths are my listening skills, building a nonjudgmental environment, and helping people see their potential. Looking forward to hearing from you.

The Behavioral Therapy Collective was created in order to offer compassionate, thoughtful, ethical and effective care to you or your loved ones.
